January 21, troops of the Afghan National Army (ANA) and the ANA Training Team of the 14th shift of the Chaghcharan Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT-14) visited the village of Sohta-i-Sufla lying around 40 kilometers away from the provincial capital Chaghcharan. The ANA members delivered to the villagers a batch of humanitarian aid: household items, warm clothes, toys.

January 10, Ministry of Justice of Afghanistan handed over the responsibility for the operation of the prison of Chaghcharan to the Ministry of the Interior of Afghanistan. After the change of subordination activity of the prison will be supervised by and in charge of the police forces of the province of Ghor which are trained with the assistance of the Lithuanian peacekeepers.

January 7, troops of Lithuanian-led Provincial Reconstruction Team of Ghor (PRT-14) and the Afghan National Army (ANA) conducted a joint patrol to the village of Cegey located 25 kilometers away from Chaghcharan. They installed a mobile control post halfway between Chaghcharan and Cegay and delivered humanitarian assistance to villagers.
