About department
Mission of Civil-Military Cooperation Department is to plan and coordinate civil-military cooperation in order to ensure its effectiveness in military operations.
TASKS OF CIVIL MILITARY COOPERATION DEPARTMENT J9:
· Plan and coordinate civil-military cooperation aspects of military operations:
· Plan and coordinate civil-military cooperation aspects of LAF joint and international exercises;
· Coordinate civil-military cooperation activities of Lithuanian Armed Forces;
· Participate in coordination of LAF training in civil-military cooperation aspect;
· Coordinate military cooperation in civil-military cooperation field;
· Participate in development of doctrines and field manuals for joint forces, services and functional areas;
· Coordinate liaison between military and civilian institutions in military operations and exercises.
